Solar and Wind Energy

The sun is planet Earth's greatest source of energy. Without the sun, there'd be no wind, no rain, and no life. Wind and Solar energy are two of the primary sources where the importance of energy storage plays a huge part. Capturing solar energy into photovoltaic cells is a technology that is currently available and is already being incorporated into buildings, both residential and commercial.

Graphene is already being incorporated into solar cells and wind turbine technology. Ultracapacitors that incorporate graphene components charge faster and hold a charge at least ten times longer than copper based technology. Graphene transistors are expected to be substantially faster than silicon transistors and this will result in a massive increase in efficiency.
